Responsibilities (Multiple Projects)

  • Independently developed an application to split set environments with procedurally generated assets to reduce load and render time while preserving artists modeling and look development work. (2017)
  • Helped to reduce load time by half after releasing Maya feature via a presentation to the WDAS Technical Directors and Tools Departments. (2017)
  • Wrote applications in C# for immersive previsualization of feature films using novel input devices and associated technology around real-time capture and VR. Invited to present final results to WDAS and PIXAR executive creative and technical teams, including the President and CTO. (2016)
  • Interviewed Set Layout Artists, Modelers, Animators, and Directors to create an application that each could use easily with their skillsets and goals. (2016)
  • Outcome & Skills Learned

    The applications I worked on at WDAS proved very promising groundwork prototyping as their development and use continued through Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet, and Frozen 2. This internship was my first experience presenting to Executive Leaders and honing my speaking and demonstration skills.
